Vermont Natural Flowers is the ultimate in floral finds. Established over 20 years ago, their compelling passion for flowers and plants has taken them on a worldwide search for the best climatic conditions and environments for growing and preserving flowers.
Vermont have perfected and patented a process that preserves flowers and foliages in their most natural state of full glorious bloom. Renowned florists such as Parisian Christian Tortu and Belgian Jos van Dyck have collaborated with Vermont to create a wild array of floral designs, wall hangings, lamp shades, table runners, giant topiaries and so much more.
Vermont also offer a bespoke service which has resulted in some unusual productions. These include a Louis Vuitton product launch in Tokyo, the embellishment of new Air France passenger lounges in Paris and the decoration of the entire facade of the Piaget shop in Geneva.
And the best news is that they now have a store at 10 Thackery Street, London W8.

The Big Art Company
This has to be one of the best personalised gifts that one can give. The Big Art Company will translate your favourite photograph into a unique Pop art canvas in the style of Warhol, Lichtenstein or Opie.
The Lichtenstein-esque comic book canvases can be produced with personalised commentary or speech bubbles; the Warhol inspired multi-panel canvases are instantly recognisable and the modern pop art approach creates fun, graphic interpretations of traditional portraits.
Choose your preferred style, canvas size and panel configuration then send the team at The Big Art Company a clear photograph. If you act before the 31st January, they will have your canvas ready for Valentine's Day.

Zebra Hides

In our search for the downright impactful, we have now secured a reliable source for genuine Zebra hides, direct from South Africa.
Zebra come in two groups... Hartman and Birchell (which has wider stripes that continue under the animal). The zebra's distinguishing marks are the unique black or brown stripes, which are akin to the fingerprints on humans... making each skin unique. They are graded according to naturally occurring blemishes from Super A Grade through A, B and C.
And in-case you were wondering... the Zebra hides are sourced from government-sponsored culls, with the purpose of maintaining herds to prevent over population. They are professionally tanned and come with the necessary documentation.
If you are interested in adding the 'wow' factor to your interiors, give me a call on +44 776 800 2840 or email louise@mowbraybydesign.com.

Taking inspiration from his extensive travels, Van Peterson's eclectic jewellery designs strike a balance between ethnic and modern, making them a favourite among fashion stylists, as well as celebrities including Cher, David Bowie, Goldie Hawn, Yasmin Le Bon, Michael Douglas, Ringo Starr and the late Princess of Wales.
Van Peterson primarily uses silver and silver gilt combined with leather and semi-precious stones ranging from aquamarine to coral to tourmaline. Nutters
I will be talking to the Luxury Marketing Council Europe's members and guests about Men's Styling on Thursday 31st January at Halpern PR's offices in London. David Mason will be joining me to talk about the evolution of tailoring, and specifically about Tommy Nutter the original Savile Row upstart. Described liberally as a rebel, maverick, glamorous, charismatic, eccentric, sophisticated... A man of wit and humour. A lover of life.
Until his death in 1992, Nutter dressed everyone from the Beatles, Mick and Bianca Jagger, to Sir Hardy Amies and Lord and Lady Harlech, from Elton John, Michael Jackson and Diana Ross, to the Duke of Bedford and Sir Roy Strong. He delivered a special blend of old school, new school and no school at all.
If you would like to join us, please e-mail louise@mowbraybydesign.com and I will add you to the guest list and send you the address details.

Saladin Manzetti
I was mesmerised by a rather eye-catching tie whilst attending Luxuria 2006 at the Royal Opera House in London last week. The wearer turned out to be none other than Peter Shingleton, the force behind Saladin Mazetti.
Gentlemen, this has to be the essence of bespoke. Have your own personal design woven into one of Saladin Manzetti's Italian silk ties. Their specialist designer department will help you to create the perfect image to mark a special occasion, business or sporting event, or simply add the finishing touch to your own personal branding.
And I should mention that they have a tantalising ready-made collection, which is available to order by telephone or online. I for one know how I will be personalising my Christmas gifts this year. Click on this link for more information.

Bodymetrics Made to Measure
Fresh off the press from the innovative crowd who brought us the perfect fitting jeans is Bodymetrics Made to Measure. They have teamed up with with three of the UK’s leading designers and tailors – Vivienne Westwood, Nick Tentis and Nick Holland, to create the perfect-fitting suit with their new high-tech tailoring service.
Bodymetrics scans over 200,000 data points on the body using rays of light in a matter of seconds, then produces a digital virtual replica of your dimensions. The scan is then used to produce a pattern that replicates the exact lines of your body. One of their in-house Consultants then designs your suit offering you choices of style, fabrics and fit... including quirky personal details such as photo buttons.
The Made to Measure range will be expanded each season so you will be able to take advantage of new cutting-edge designs on a regular basis. Oh, and once you’ve had your initial scan, you can order a new suit over the telephone. Wonderful.
Bodymetrics Made to Measure is exclusively available at Harrods Designer Studio on 1. Tel: +44 20 7730 1234, ext. 3014.
